The New Edifice Magazine

“Life Comes Full Circle… And So Do Magazines”

By: Dr. Christopher Cooper

Well folks, 2023 marks the 20th anniversary of the debut issue of Edifice Magazine Number One. We decided back in 2011 that we could no longer print a physical magazine because overhead costs became outrageous making it almost impossible to carry on as a small independent Canadian magazine so we decided to go fully digital… hey, I thought in the new age of e-readers (remember those) everyone would embrace the technology. Apparently, the consumer was not ready at all, and we decided to go the way of single articles posted to our website.

Our subscribers have lamented that full issues of Edifice are no longer available, and have been petitioning us for a return of Edifice.

I am very pleased, in fact delighted, to announce that Edifice will be publishing a quarterly magazine again starting with our Spring Solstice Issue “Edifice Number Twenty-Seven” to be released on March 21st, 2023. We will be debuting a new issue each quarter… Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter Solstice. For now, each issue will be available as an electronic e-book. But here is the good news, a subscription is absolutely free, yes you heard me, the best four-letter word in the good Kings English FREE to our valued Edifice Fans new and old!

However, for lovers of the Real McCoy, every Spring Solstice moving forward, a fully bound book will be available for purchase as a year in review compendium. The first book will be available March 21st, 2024.

We have always prided ourselves in creating content that never stale dates and is cherished by our former subscribers to the printed magazine. Our promise to our former and new subscribers is that our content will not change from our original mandate all those years ago!

Looking forward to another twenty years of Edifice… that is if I make it to 80 years old :0) !

Cheers… Dr. Christopher Cooper Editor-in-Chief
