Serving Prince Edward Island

Philosophy & Approach:
As a career educator and a lifelong learner, I believe that every project provides an opportunity for learning and for teaching. I keep my clients informed at every stage of the process and we work together to create the best solution to address the challenges and opportunities that arise in heritage restoration work. I will treat your home as if it were my own and the standard will always be the same — I will give you my BEST work.

Bio:

Following a career as a senior executive in post-secondary education, I am pursuing a lifelong passion for heritage buildings and the restoration arts. I am broadly educated, including undergraduate credentials in Economics and in Engineering and a graduate degree in archaeology from Harvard University. I have significant experience in leading and managing projects of all sizes; in providing consulting services; and in hands-on restoration work. I have a well-earned reputation as a thinker and a doer, an innovator and a maker. While broadly skilled, I have a particular interest in locating hard-to-find unique pieces including antique hardware, lighting, and architectural salvage, and incorporating those pieces into restorations and new-build designs. I am closely aligned with my wife’s interior decorating business and often provide services to her clientele. I am also able to draw on the expertise and skills of many knowledgeable colleagues and associates.
